Carpet Cleaning

Why do Steamatic customers return again & again?

What's the big deal with carpet cleaning? A little water, a little soap, vacuum it up and you have clean carpet. Right? Wrong! Soap is the problem. Can you imagine washing your car without rinsing off the soap? The soap would leave a sticky residue that would actually attract dirt. Now, imagine that film left in your carpet making it stiff or sticky and attracting dirt faster.

The professionals at Steamatic use our patented Hot Water Extraction System for cleaning. Our system utilizes super heated water and a water softener to remove dirt and bacteria without soap or harsh chemicals. We don't need it. The super heated water breaks up dirt and grease without damaging the fibers or over-wetting your carpet. Steamatic's proprietary re-circulating system keeps the clean, hot water moving from the tank to the wand so it doesn't have a chance to cool down sitting in the line. Powerful vacuums then extract the dirty water, leaving your carpets clean, soft and odor free.

Carpet is an expensive investment and you want to take the best possible care to keep it looking great for as long as possible and to maintain your warranty.  We recommend vacuuming weekly to remove abrasive particles that can damage the fibers and have it cleaned twice a year by the professionals at Steamatic.

Oriental and area rugs can be picked up from your home and cleaned at our facility, utilizing the same hot-water extraction method. They are then delivered back to you clean, dry and fresh.

Dust Mites and your carpet

Steam cleaning of carpets is the industry standard. Not only does it provide excellent results, but kills dust mites and bacteria as well. While bare floors provide the optimal solution for dust mite control, steam cleaning is recommended for those who have carpets.

Pet spots and pet stains:

• Dog - we can clean the spots but to remove the damage permanently we recommend pulling up the carpet, remove and replace the pad and relay the carpet.  IF this does not get all of the stain out of the carpet, it may need to be replaced. (The carpet, not the dog.)
• Cat - we can clean these messes ONLY by pulling up the carpet, remove and replace the pad and the carpet.  The mess that we CANNOT clean is urine.  This gets into the carpet, pad and into the flooring underneath to the point that the only solution is to put a non-porous stain on the flooring before replacing the pad and carpet. (Maybe the cat, too.)

Spot Kit
